However, their friends Jake and Candace started jumping up and down inside my head, and I knew I had to follow them on their journey to happily-ever-after together. I’m so glad I did! The road to long-lasting love isn’t a smooth one for this couple, but it’s still chock-full of sweet and sexy goodness. And the epilogue…oh, my heart! You may want to have a tissue ready to dab at those sappy, happy tears.

SWEET AS CANDY is the third book in the Close to Home Series, but it can be read as a standalone story. Jake and Candace appear as secondary characters in ICING ON THE CAKE, but you don’t need to read that book first to fully enjoy SWEET AS CANDY.

One little aside about this book… While most businesses in my stories are fictional, the butterfly conservatory in SWEET AS CANDY is based on the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory.
